HGD (Sex Ed) Attacks Our Biblical Values

1. HGD (Sex Ed) attacks marriage and the family. Genesis 1:27 (NIV) says, “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” God made the couple and He created them as sexual beings with the ability to reproduce and experience pleasure when having their times of intimacy. It was His idea and “God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. . . .” Genesis 1:31 (NIV)

God has given us some guidelines as to when we can experience His gift of sex. Per Proverbs 5:15-19 (NIV) it is to only be experienced by a man and a woman within the bounds of marriage, “Drink water from your own cistern, running water from your own well. Should your springs overflow in the streets, your streams of water in the public squares? Let them be yours alone, never to be shared with strangers. May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth.” Per God’s Word sexual intimacy is only to be celebrated within marriage between a husband and his wife. Persons are not to have sex before marriage, which is fornication, or after marriage with a person who is not their marriage partner, which is called adultery. HGD is an attack again marriage, for it teaches many ways to have sex without even using the word “marriage” in their curriculum. God has clearly taught in His Word that sex should only be celebrated within marriage between a husband and his wife.

2.HGD (Sex Ed) teaches many ways to have sex including ways that are prohibited in God’s Word. Romans 1:21-28 (NIV) teaches, “For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened . . .(have omitted verses 22 and 23). Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error. Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.” It is very clear that God prohibits homosexuality, and it is considered sin by the sacred Scriptures. HGD promotes homosexuality through teaching the use of internal condoms for anal sex, and gives youth the impression that it is okay to engage in homosexual sex as long as it is consensual by the two people participating and is protected from disease by the use of condoms.

3.HGD (Sex Ed) promotes fornication. 1 Corinthians 6:13,18 (KJV) says “. . . . Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body. . . . (have omitted verses 14 -17) Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. The Holy Scripture teaches us to flee from fornication while HGD promotes fornication by even teaching virgins how to put on condoms. This gives them the impression that it is okay to have sex as long as it is consensual by the two people participating and is protected from disease by the use of condoms. In Revelation 2:18-21 (KJV) God’s Son expresses His complaints against the church in Thyatira, “These things saith the Son of God, . . . (have omitted part of vs 18) I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.” One of God’s complaints against this church was that they were teaching and seducing God’s people to commit fornication.
